Meet Pam

This past Fall, Pam became a part of the TWB family. She started the program with a can-do attitude and was always willing to go the extra mile, whether it was helping with farmer’s markets and showcasing her amazing sales tactics or staying late to get orders filled. Her story is one of empowerment, and we are lucky to be a part of it! Read her story below.
What circumstances brought you to where you were before you joined Together We Bake?
Pam: To learn and add baking to my resume.
What inspired you to apply to Together We Bake?
Pam: Baking
How has Together We Bake changed your perspective on life?
Pam: It gave me inspiration, peace, and a know-how attitude.
Has someone at Together We Bake (a fellow participant, a volunteer, an instructor, etc) had a particular influence on you?
Pam: Yes, Stephanie; when everything was falling down around me, Stephanie stepped in to help me. I will never forget that.
How would you describe Together We Bake?
Pam: Breathless and an inspiration; amazing.
What do you feel is the most valuable thing Together We Bake does?
Pam: Together We Bake gives back to women.
What is the most valuable thing you learned at Together We Bake?
Pam: True friendship.
Do you have any specific memories of experiences at Together We Bake?
Pam: Our photo shoot and our trip to women giving back.
What was the most challenging thing about the program? How did you overcome that challenge?
Pam: Learning to deal with women and how they react with me and others.
What is something you are proud of that you achieved because of your participation in Together We Bake?
Pam: Humbleness. I learned to express myself and not be afraid of what others think.
What advice do you have for women considering applying to Together We Bake?
Pam: Take all the information you get with TWB and apply it to your life. You may run into obstacles, but if you take your time, you will overcome them. Just take it one day at a time. Just be proud of yourself.
