What to Expect from TWB
If accepted to the program, Team Members will actively learn and participate in food production, food safety education, business administration, and overall job readiness. We also teach empowerment and life-skills classes to help Team Members develop self-confidence, healthy coping strategies, and a strong support network as they move toward self-sufficiency.
Each woman graduates job-ready and empowered. Upon passing the ServSafe exam, they also receive a nationally-recognized ServSafe certificate, resulting in preferential hiring and higher wages.
TWB also stays in touch with our Alumni well after they graduate, offering help with employment, access to services, or social support. We host regular Alumni events that are open to our entire community of graduates, and we stay connected to Alumni through multiple platforms.
