Ready to Rise: TWB’s Summer Cohort Steps Boldly Into the Future

Every TWB graduation is more than a milestone. It’s a launchpad.

This summer, our graduates walked across the stage not only with certificates, but with a deeper belief in themselves and a clearer vision of where they're headed. Over the past weeks, they learned the ins and outs of operating a commercial bakery, practiced workplace communication, refined résumés, and role-played interviews until they could walk into one with confidence. 

They also gained something just as valuable: a community of support. "I feel like I'm part of something bigger now," one graduate told us. "I know I'm not alone in this journey."

Several graduates have already joined the Alumni Committee, a group that advises TWB staff and board, mentors new participants, and ensures that the graduate voice shapes the program's future.

As they head into job interviews, training programs, and new careers, our graduates carry more than skills; they carry the knowledge that they are capable, resilient, and ready. And we, their TWB family, carry the joy of knowing that every cookie baked, every skill learned, and every challenge overcome has prepared them for this moment.
